Going into the console realm …….
Well today
(after i build in the 2 400GB disks)
both my raid 1 OS disks died ! 
So all the work i put into the maintaining the machine lately where futile….
(Snmp/Cacti/Asterix/SABnzbd/MythTV/TwonkyVision/My own scripts)
You name it straight to /dev/nul :(
Ahh well
time to start over then 
So i took out the 2x 80GB disks and replaced it with a new 80GB i had lying around
Sadly no raid for now
So the first thing i always do is install the nntp downloader sabnzbd
(i needz to leech)
I always install this box with Clarkconnect wich has alot of features packed with it , wich i need for the routing of my home network.
And to be frank , saves me alot of time
The downside to this distro is that its quirky and is way behind kernelwise (wich is partly CentOS fault, seeing the new CentOS 5 is still on 2.6.18 )
So seeing i installed this box 3 times already this weekend , i was sick and tired of installing stuff manually.
I decided to take a try at bash scripting to automize my installation of SABnzbd+

More woes to follow when i go to install cacti and such again (or decide to script it

At the end of the evening i realised the scripting sucked me in
I got so focused on learning how to get things done in a script
im sure theres alot to improve
Then it even hit me even harder !
because of the scripting i got sucked into another realm, where time is obsolete.
This has to be the only way its possible that an entire day went by …..
and i hardly got shit done !!
except ofcourse for the sabnzbd installer
